Jonathan is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP-BC), bringing a well-rounded, whole-person approach to mental health care. He believes that mental and physical health are deeply interconnected—and that effective treatment should reflect that.
Jonathan earned his Master of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of South Florida in 2017 and completed his Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. With nearly a decade of healthcare experience spanning inpatient psychiatry, assisted living, home health, and private practice, he brings a broad clinical lens to his work.
In 2020, he founded A Brighter Day Healthcare to provide compassionate, personalized care for adults facing challenges like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and insomnia. Jonathan integrates physical health assessments into his psychiatric care to support long-term wellness and ensure that no aspect of health is overlooked.
As an ADHD-CCSP, Jonathan is especially committed to delivering evidence-based care for individuals with ADHD and staying current with the latest research and best practices. He also serves as a clinical preceptor and values patient education, prevention, and collaborative treatment planning. Jonathan sees medication as one important tool among many, and he works with each patient to create a plan that supports both mental clarity and physical vitality.
